Pheasant Cottage

The fascinating market town of Kirkbymoorside is situated on the edge of The North Yorks Moors National Park between Helmsley and Pickering. There have been two castles in the town and fragments can still be found in the area, with stones from one of the castles used in the building of the Toll House in the centre of the town. The town has a broad cobbled main street and is flanked by magnificent Georgian buildings. There are walks from the town towards Hutton-le-Hole and the fabulous Ryedale Folk Museum can be found here. Visitors can take a trip back in time and discover what life was like in past times. With its idyllic location and stunning scenery, Kirkbymoorside is a super holiday base.

This is a comfortable, well-equipped cottage with lovely countryside views in a courtyard setting and provides elegant accommodation for up to six people.

With a wealth of traditional features and modern conveniences, this cottage has been thoughtfully converted to provide welcoming holiday accommodation. There is a bright and inviting sitting area with a wood burner, making this a cosy area in which to relax. The sitting room has French doors that lead to a delightful garden and patio area, and the dining room overlooks this space. The kitchen is light, modern and equipped to a high standard, and there are three lovely and serene bedrooms, a double and two twin rooms. One of the twin rooms benefits from an en-suite bathroom, and there is a further ground floor bathroom. The wooden floors and exposed stoned work and beams give the cottage wonderful character and make this property a great holiday centre.

Full oil central heating and additional heating from woodburning stove in sitting area. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, colour TV/DVD, stereo/CD etc. Selection of books, games and DVDs.
