The delightful old market town of Kirkbymoorside lies on the edge of The North Yorks Moors National Park between the towns of Helmsley and Pickering. There have been two castles in the town over the years and small remains can still be seen in the area. Stones from one of the castles were used in the building of the Toll House, which can be found in the centre of the town.
