Liverton Lodge

In the picturesque Esk Valley is the moors village of Danby. It boasts two public houses, both serving food, tea-rooms and a bakery. At nearby Danby Lodge there is an excellent National Park Visitor Centre set in 13 acres of beautiful riverside pasture and housing exhibitions and offering nature trails. The ruins of Danby Castle, built in the 14th Century, are just waiting to be discovered and the last remaining working water mill on the River Esk can also to be found here. The Esk Valley Way is a 35-mile trail that starts at the source of the River Esk and ends at Whitby harbour, going through many of the villages on the Esk Valley Railway. This area makes a superb base to see this tremendous area.

This spectacular and spacious property is an arresting sandstone farmhouse in open countryside, providing accommodation for up to 10 people.
