Street House Farm

With its cobbled streets and back alleys, the charming and sleepy seaside village of Staithes is something of an artist's dream. With pretty houses and cottages clustered around the old harbour, the village is surrounded by high, craggy cliffs and a sheltered, sandy beach. This settlement has ties to Captain Cook, who was apparently apprenticed to a draper near the harbour. Nowadays there is a good selection of pubs, shops and tea rooms for visitors to the Yorkshire Coast. The Cleveland Way runs down the cliffside to the sea's edge, passing through the town and providing the best views in the local area. With Whitby, Scarborough and the rest of the Yorkshire Coast so close by, this makes an excellent base for visitors looking for a traditional seaside holiday.

Able to sleep ten people across five bedrooms, this spacious property makes an ideal base for a large group of friends or a family gathering.
