Harrogate  Train: Harrogate railway station provides a link for the area to the rest of the railway network. From London, services run from Kings Cross by East Coast Main Line. Change to Northern Rail service at either Leeds or York for connection to Harrogate. Bus: Harrogate and District buses provide regular bus services and also the Dales Bus.

Malton / Flamingo Land Train: Malton train station offers regular services to Scarborough and all the way through York to Liverpool Lime Street. Please check National Rail Enquires website for further information. Bus: Yorkshire Coastliner has very regular services towards the Whitby coast, and over to York, through to Leeds. They also run to Flamingo Land.

North Yorkshire Moors Train: An amazing way to see the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors on  an authentic Steam Train. A very special experience and stops on many routes along the way. Robin Hoods Bay   Bus: Arriva run regular buses from Scarborough to Middlesbrough through Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby. For more information please visit their website for further details. The nearest train station is at Whitby which runs from Middlesbrough.

Scarborough Train: The Great North Eastern Railway services run from London and Edinburgh.The Esk Valley route to Whitby operates via Middlesbrough, whilst the Wolds Coast Line runs from Hull to Filey and Scarborough. Bus: There are a number of bus operators providing services to and around the coastal towns and villages. Including Arriva, East Yorkshire Buses, The Coastliner.

Staithes   Bus:The East Yorkshire Bus Services run regularly to Staithes and the surrounding area. Check out their website for further details.   Walks: There are many lovely walks and cycle routes in Staithes and the surrounding area.

Thirsk  Train:There services to Northallerton, Middlesbrough, Darlington, York and beyond. There are only 4 daily direct services to London courtesy of open access operator Grand Central Railway. Bus: The Dales Bus and Moors Bus both run services through to Thirsk. National Express buses also stop at Thirsk. Please check websites for more details.

York  Train: York is the perfect place to travel to and from, offering all major services to/from London and up to Scotland. Bus:First Buses provide regular bus services around York. To access many of York's out of town attractions and the Coast use the local Coastliner service which runs regular services including Leeds, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Filey and Whitby.

Yorkshire Dales  Train: Regular train services run to the heart of the Yorkshire Dales up from Leeds to Ilkley and up towards the Lake District and Scotland. For all timetables and information check out National Rail Enquires Website. Pickering Train: The North Yorkshire Moors Railway Steam line is a very popular experience and runs regularly between Pickering and Whitby, stopping along many pretty villages on the way. Bus: The Yorkshire Coastliner runs to and from Whitby and to York as far as Leeds. The East Yorkshire Bus Service runs to Scarborough, and over to Helmsley.

Ripon   Bus: There are minibus bus links around the city itself and to surrounding villages and attractions. There are also main bus routes to surrounding towns and cities, including Leeds, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge, York, Leyburn and Richmond.
