Train: The Great North Eastern Railway inter-city services run from London and Edinburgh. The Transpennine Express provides the cross-country service from Liverpool and Manchester. The Esk Valley route to Whitby operates via Middlesbrough, whilst the Wolds Coast Line runs from Hull to Filey and Scarborough.
