Key Green Farmhouse is located just outside Egton Bridge, in the Esk Valley within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The area is popular with walkers and cyclists, with the Coast to Coast and the North York Moors route of the Inn Way passing through the village. It is also closely based to the wonderful costal resorts of Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough and offers a wealth of things to see and do.
Key Green Farmhouse offers a one bedroom self catering annexe to rent on a weekly basis. The accommodation is ideal for couples; however there is also a double bed settee in the lounge area for additional guests.
The annexe consists of a small entrance porch, with a connecting door to the main farmhouse which is kept locked. The porch leads to a large open plan kitchen with lounge area. The kitchen is equipped with a washer-dryer, a fridge-freezer, microwave and cooking range. The lounge area has a television, radio and DVD/video with two settees, one of which converts to a double bed. Leading from the kitchen area is a staircase up to a large open plan bedroom with a separate small bathroom, with a bath, however there is not a shower. Key Green Farmhouse is on spring water rather than mains, which is checked annually by Scarborough Borough Council. Heating is by an oil fired combi-boiler, all heating and electricity charges are included in the rental costs.
Outside the house has gardens with patio furniture which visitors are welcome to use.
Visitors are very welcome to bring up to two dogs with them, free of charge. Please note there are currently three friendly Labradors resident at Key Green Farmhouse, with a number of working dogs living at the next door farmhouse.
