Harrogate 

Harrogate is a beautiful spa town and a popular tourist destination; its spa waters, RHS Harlow Carr Gardens and Betty's Tearooms are world famous visitor attractions, and the town serves as an ideal location from which to explore the nearby Yorkshire Dales National Park. Harrogate is also close to the other popular cities York and Ripon.

                            

Helmsley

Helmsley is a beautiful town situated near the wonderful North Yorkshire MoorsHelmsley itself offers the great Helmsley Castle, Helmsley Walled Gardens and Arts Centre. There is also a spectacular stately home open to the public called Nunnington Hall with beautiful grounds, and nearby is the serine Rievaulx Abbey and Rievaulx Abbey Terrace and Temples.

 

 

                                                                                                       

Malton / Flamingo Land

Malton is a lovely market town in a perfect location for many attractions and areas. Most famously Malton is known for Flamingo Land theme park. Flamingo Land offers a great day out for all the family from great rides and shows to a fantastic zoo with many fantastic animals to see. Malton also has many other local attractions and is close to the city of York.

North Yorkshire Moors

The great variety of landscapes in the North York Moors is what truly makes it unique and gives it a character which so many people can enjoy. You can wander through woods, saunter through picturesque villages of honey sandstone, throw pebbles in a stream or build sandcastles on the beach. Robin Hoods Bay

Robin Hoods Bay offers a beautiful holiday destination with its cobbled winding streets, beautiful shops and its fantastic bay. As part of the jurassic coast it is famous for its fossils, so who knows what you will find! Other attractions include the Robin Hoods Bay Museum, and North East Yorks Geology Trust to the Farsyde Riding Centre and the Old Coastguard Station.

Scarborough

Scarborough is a great a place to stay for a holiday or short break, with the wonderful sandy North Bay Beach and South Bay Beach being broken by a rocky headland with the great, historic remains of Scarborough Castle. Scarborough also offers first class attractions such as the award winning Sea Life Marine Sanctuary, Scarborough Art Gallery and the newly refurbished Rotunda Museum.

 

 

                                                                                                       

Staithes

Staithes was once one of the largest fishing ports on the north east coast of the United Kingdom and an important source of the minerals Jet, Iron, Alum and Potash. Staithes today is a very attractive tourist destination of great interest to both the amateur and professional Geologist. This section of the UK is known as the "Dinosaur Coast".

Thirsk 

Thirsk is an old fashioned market town famous for its race course and 15th Century Church, set in the centre of "Herriot Country" Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west and the North York Moors National Park to the east. Thirsk has some great resturants, bars, pubs and cafes and lovely boutique shops and a great market place.

York 

Renowned for its exquisite architecture, tangle of quaint cobbled streets and the iconic York Minster.

Known for its Roman, Viking, and Medieval heritage and wealth of attractions like and the iconic York Minster, JORVIK, DIG, Yorkshire Museum, Castle Museum and National Railway Museum to name a few, York is fast developing a flourishing cutting edge scene.

 

 

                                                                                                       

Yorkshire Dales 

The Yorkshire Dales National Park is a special place, it has outstanding scenery, a range of wildlife habitats and a rich cultural heritage. It is a fantastic outdoor arena for recreation and peaceful relaxation and a haven for wildlife. There are many beautiful towns and villages to visit offering a wealth of things to see and do and there is Harrogate and Ripon nearby to explore.

Whitby 

Whitby is famous for many things including being the inspiration for Bram Stokers Dracula, the residing place of the great Captain Cook, its lovely harbour and quaint winding streets and most importantly for having the best fish and chips in the world! Pickering

The lovely town of Pickering offers a wealth of things to do and is perfectly positioned for the many attractions of the surrounding area. Ripon

Ripon is a beautiful market town that was founded over 1300 years ago, and is famous as an old Cathedral City. The old city of Ripon is filled with shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs, and also offers many historical buildings and museums, including Ripon Cathedral, Fountains Abbey, Studley Royal, the Wakeman's House and Ripon Spa Gardens.
